Sentence Structure Worksheets
There are three types of sentence structures: simple, complex, and compound. A simple sentence has only one independent clause. Complex ones have one independent clause and one dependent clause. The compound type has two or more independent clauses. A student who is adept at identifying the type of sentence will find punctuation, especially comma usage, much easier.
